Weeteng Poh is a Berlin-based visual artist who mainly works with the photographic medium. She enjoys applying theories and philosophy in her practice as an understanding of the photographic medium. Through this exploration, her identity and role as a photographer is being challenged and reinforced constantly, especially in the current photographic universe. She uses her work to open a dialogue with her audience, engaging them to explore the possibilities of the photographic medium. Over the course of the last 3 years, Weeteng has authored three books on her own: “The Silence in Between” (2021), “XX,” (2022) and “Paradox of Chance” (2023). In all projects, her aesthetics are quiet, subtle and composed, a reflection of how she observes her surroundings and appreciate the essence of photography. Originally from Singapore, she just received her M.A in Photography in August 2023 and is currently working on her next project.
